Friends, this month, we take time to honor our many Indian pastors and their families. I'm pleased to announce Harvest India's new Pastor Support Program, our latest advancement in supporting our pastor friends in India.
As you know, the very core of Harvest India's mission is to "Carry Christ's Compassion to Every Village In India." Today, hundreds of our pastors serve the Lord throughout the country, most of whom serve in small, remote villages. They are truly on the front lines, living in faith, loving others, and striving to make a difference for Jesus.
Many pastors struggle to meet their families' basic needs each month. They rely on the giving and generosity of some of the poorest families in all India, if not the world. Over the years, Harvest India has supported many of these fellow Christ followers, and we are excited to roll out a new program that allows you to support a specific pastor.
Last year, the Harvest India team interviewed more than 150 pastors and created a profile for each of these men and women. Alongside their photo, each profile provides personal information about the pastor, as well as the pastor's family, ministry, and favorite bible verses. It also includes personal information, such as ministry goals, and ways you can pray for their ministry and family.
I'd like to encourage you to sponsor a pastor today. Your $50 monthly investment will make a significant difference in the life of your brother or sister in Christ and their families. This donation will advance God's kingdom in a land starving for the Gospel of Jesus.
To begin, please, click the link below. Once you have finished the support process, we will assign a pastor to you and send you a pastor profile to display on your desk, fridge, or another place, reminding you to pray each day. This can be a great way for a family to join together, pray and share a great learning opportunity with children. We also ask your life group and home church to consider sponsoring pastors, gathering together and praying for one or several of your fellow believers.
